A bit about Gail...
Gail Madalena is a registered nutritional therapist specialising in fertility, pregnancy and women’s health. Her expertise lies in hormonal imbalances, such as irregular cycles, debilitating PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid issues and sub-optimal fertility. Her goal is to reduce hormonal side effects and symptoms by addressing the root cause of the issue.
Gail helps couples optimise your nutrition and lifestyle choices, supporting you on your journey to achieving a healthy pregnancy. Having gone through her own fertility journey, and suffering from PCOS since her teens, she has first-hand experience of just how effective natural protocols can be on balancing hormones. Now a mother herself, Gail uses her knowledge to help others in a similar situation.
When it comes to making a baby, it’s more than just eating the right diet. Working alongside you as an individual or a couple, Gail will also explore your genetic predisposition, family health history, lifestyle and environment. As well as specific testing to identify any issues in hormone levels, irregular cycles, sperm function and your stress response. All of which can play a huge role in hormone imbalance and conception.
If you are already pregnant and looking to optimise the health and wellbeing of both you and your baby, then Gail will help put a tailored protocol together for you.
Everyone is unique and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Gail takes a holistic approach to nutritional therapy and addresses the individual, formulating a diet and lifestyle plan that is bespoke to you and your current situation. Her method is evidenced based, safe, simple and realistic.
As well as women’s health and fertility, Gail also has extensive experience in gut health, assisting with digestive symptoms such as IBS, IBD, intolerances and allergies. Using a tailored protocol designed to fit around your needs, she will help you understand your triggers and allow you to manage your symptoms effectively. Gail can also work with you on diet assessments, nutritional advice for weight loss, eating for training and stress management.
